| saying you should be getting a higher MPH with your mods. Even if your launch is horrible, your mph should still be high. For example; Lets say your first run is 13.00@116mph with a good launch. Then say your second run is 13.60@117mph with a bad launch. Now lets say both runs are identical minus the launch. You notice how the E.T. is the only thing that changes and the mph is basically the same. In drag racing mph is more representative of the power being produced, rather than the launch.
